1972年，中国扫雷队员韦力在越南某港口扫雷，因水雷爆炸受了重伤，掉进水里。担任救护的越南女军医阮贞跳海救了韦力，并把他送到军医院。原来，他们是中越界奇丽江边的一对少年朋友。。东方的大海上，有座风景秀丽、灵气充裕的小岛“浮光岛”。三百年前，浮光岛涌现出许多妖怪作乱。猫猫神“岚”在山上的一棵古树下施法，祛除了它们。岛民为了供奉猫猫神，在古树下建起了“浮光神社”。自此，岛上有结界守护，妖怪很少出现。怀有执念的小猫却有机会化作人形、猫耳、猫尾的猫灵。。Antarctica lives in our dreams as the most remote, the most forbidding continent on Planet Earth.
