《读心探案》是一部刑侦社会剧，讲述新一代公安刑警，运用犯罪心理分析和网络时代新科技，刻画作案动机，侦破离奇疑难案件的故事，堪称一部当代犯罪心理侦破实录。 三年前，平海市发生了一起凶杀案，在缉拿犯罪嫌疑人曹铭的过程中，刑警大队长丁伟为了保护人质而英勇牺牲。时隔三年，类似案件又再次上演，为此，平海市公安局决定抽调刑警支队业务骨干：刑警大队长许志新；犯罪心理专家刘晶；侦案能手、副大队长罗海；物理生化双料博士年轻女警林雪；骁勇善战的搏击高手女警虎妞；电脑网络高手王晓波，组成刑警支队大案大队，负责此类案件的侦缉任务。 刘晶与同事们在案件的侦破过程中各自发挥自身的特长，通过角色扮演，以及对涉案犯罪嫌疑人的刻画描述，分析推测出其作案动机。锁定案件侦破方向、嫌疑人目标……。护士莉莉（露丝·威尔森 Ruth Wilson 饰）被雇佣照顾年迈的作家布拉姆夫人（狄波拉·哈利 Deborah Harry 饰），然而，在她照料的过程中，发生了一连串科学无法解释的诡异事件，令莉莉觉察到屋内有鬼。 之后，莉莉开始阅读布拉姆夫人写的一本关于鬼怪的小说，意外发现这些故事其实来自真实的经历：原先这栋房子的女主人被她的丈夫杀害后，尸体被藏匿在墙壁之内。最终，莉莉被拆除墙壁释放出来的鬼魂吓至死亡，而随后布拉姆夫人也离世了。接着，新的屋主搬进了这座房子，却毫不知情地成为了另一对鬼魂眼睛透过墙壁默默注视的对象。。Greece, in the 1920's, is occupied by the Turks. The country is in turmoil with entire villages uprooted. The site of the movie is a Greek village that conducts a passion play each year. The leading citizens of the town, under the auspices of the Patriarch, choose those that will play the parts in the Passion. A stuttering shepherd is chosen to play Jesus. The town butcher (who wanted to be Jesus) is chosen as Judas. The town prostitute is chosen as Mary Magdalene. The rest of the disciples are also chosen. As the movie unfolds, the Passion Play becomes a reality. A group of villagers, uprooted by the war and impoverished, arrive at the village led by their priest. The wealthier citizens of the town want nothing with these people and manipulate a massacre. In the context of the 1920's each of the characters plays out their biblical role in actuality.。
