影片讲述了拳击手孟虎与住在孤儿院的女儿之间复杂的亲情关系，以及阿虎寻女过程中与孤儿院老师的爱情故事。。Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. But on top of the excruciating hardship of the work, they also have to fear an attack from the army.。由王家卫导演亲自挑选的《东邪西毒》、《一代宗师》、《花样年华》等电影从未曝光的珍贵片段，包括删减片段及花絮等组成的纪录片，短片依然是以导演王家卫的方式打开，讲述作者受王导之托创作纪念短片并立下一蛋之约，于是耗时2年，去到很多地方，见过许多人，找回好多珍贵的底片，虽有一些已经修复不到，仍借由这支短片得以让曾经的擦身而过终再重逢。。
